Larry Thomason received his B.S. from the University of Washington (1979) and his M.S. (1981) and Ph. D. (1985) from the University of Arizona. He has been with NASA Langley Research Center since 1990 where he currently involved with the development of SAGE III data processing algorithms and with the SAGE II reanalysis effort. He is a member of the Stratospheric Aerosol and Gas Experiment (SAGE) III and SAGE II Science Teams as well as the Improved Limb Atmospheric Spectrometer (ILAS) II Science Team. Dr. Thomason participated in the 1998 1st SPARC Assessment of Trends in the Vertical Distribution of Ozone (F38) and the International UNEP Scientific Assessment of Ozone Depletion: 1998. His research interests include stratospheric aerosol variability and mathematical inversion techniques.
