HALOE Data Viewer
The Halogen Occultation Experiment (HALOE) was launched on the Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite UARS spacecraft September 12, 1991 as part of the Earth Science Enterprise (ESE) Program. Users must register to access the data.

LASDC Earth Observing System Data Gateway
The Langley Atmospheric Sciences Data Center Gateway ordering system HTML interface allows one to search for, browse and order data from participating archive centers. It also allows searches on a variety of parameters such as: sensor, parameter, data set, data center, source, project, and processing level.

48" lidar - Hampton VA
A ground-based lidar system at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia (37.1N, 76.3W), has monitored the stratospheric aerosol vertical distribution and loading since 1974.

Lidar In-space Technology Experiment (LITE)
Lidar offers unique capabilities for atmospheric sensing. Lidar is ideally suited for detecting and profiling aerosol layers and tenuous clouds, even at night or over inhomogeneous terrain. NASA Langley Research Center has developed a number of ground-based and airborne lidar systems over the last 25 years for the study of clouds, aerosols, water vapor, and ozone. The Lidar In-space Technology Experiment was initiated in 1985 to demonstrate operation of a lidar in space.

Search using the following parameters: Version, Event, Species Desired, Minimum Altitude, Maximum Altitude, Latitude Range, Longitude Range, Local Radius, Latitude, Longitude, Start Time Period, and/or End Time Period.

These products include optical depth, surface area density, and aerosol extinction in a variety of formats.
